I spent over 15 years working in hospitality as a sommelier and restaurant manager, including time in Michelin Guide restaurants in Poland. Food, wine, and creating experiences for people has always been my passion — but deep down I always dreamed about building something of my own.
After moving to the United States, I decided to chase the American dream and turn that passion into a business. That's how The Melted State was born — a concept inspired by traditional European raclette, melted straight from the wheel and served in a fun, interactive way at markets, private events, and pop-ups.
The idea started from a simple belief: great food should bring people together. Today, The Melted State combines my hospitality background, love for cooking, and passion for creating memorable food experiences with a modern street-food style concept.

I highly recommend this business. I am very into high quality ingredients and Thomas has them all. Buttery bread, the homemade pulled pork and of course the cheese blowed my mouth. Don't hesitate to call him for your private events.
Thomas made melted raclette cheese for our party and it was a hit. People kept going back for more the whole night. He was relaxed, easy to be around, and the food was genuinely delicious. Would have him back without hesitation.
I've seen The Melted State at multiple markets and stopped a few times. I've had both the potatoes and the ciabatta roll base. They have other toppings for you to build on your base — bacon jam, pickles, fig jam, pulled pork, pickled onions, honey mustard, sun-dried tomatoes and more. Everything is delicious because it's your own creation. If you see them, definitely give them a try.
